You give life You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope You restore ev'ry heart that is broken
And great are You Lord

It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise
We pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs

So we pour out our praise to You only

(Bridge)
And all the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry these bones will sing
Great are You Lord

(REPEAT)

Desert Song
by
Brooke Ligertwood

This is my prayer in the desert
When all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides

This is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flame

I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice

I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

This is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on its way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

(Bridge)
All of my life in ev’ry season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing

I have a reason to worship
(REPEAT)

This is my prayer in the harvest
When favour and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I've received I will sow

Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing (Nettleton)
by
John Wyeth, Robert Robinson

Come Thou fount
of ev'ry blessing
Tune my heart
to sing Thy grace

Streams of mercy
never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise

Teach me some
melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above

Praise the mount
I'm fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming love

Here I raise mine Ebenezer
Hither by Thy help I'm come

And I hope by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home

Jesus sought me
when a stranger
Wand'ring from the fold of God

He to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious blood

O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I'm constrained to be

Let Thy grace Lord like a fetter
Bind my wand'ring heart to Thee

Prone to wander Lord I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love

Here's my heart Lord
take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above

In Christ Alone
Keith Getty, Stuart Townend
Thankyou Music

In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light my strength my song
This Cornerstone this solid Ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm

What heights of love what depths of peace
When fears are stilled when strivings cease
My Comforter my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save

Till on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again

And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny

No power of hell no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

If faith can move the mountains
Let the mountains move
We come with expectation

And it's You we adore
Singing alleluia

You are ev'rything You've promised
Your faithfulness is true
We're desp'rate for Your presence
All we need is You

In step with You Lord we sing alleluia

ASU students are back!
Beginning Monday morning, August 24, we'll beginning our weekly presence on the campus of downtown ASU.  Each Monday between 10am to noon, we'll be passing out Capri Suns, water, granola bars and breakfast snacks for students as they head for class.  It's our way of developing a friendship with the students, showing our love for them and giving them encouragement.
Then starting September 9, we partner with Christian Challenge and Young Life/College as we  begin LATE NIGHT at 9:15pm on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.  The first and third Wednesdays will host a college-age barbecue and mid-week break complete with the most beautiful night skyline you'll see anywhere!

Pray for us as we encourage students and foster healthy relationships.

We use adaptable, reusable temporary spaces within business partnerships to make Christ known!

Today's event is brought to you through community partnerships of Fair Trade Cafe', Visio Dei Community and Downtown Phoenix Church/DTPHX Church
