2019 Schedules

As we look towards 2019, let's review the way we'll be meeting on Sunday afternoons for our Roosevelt Row Life Group!

First Fridays Craft and Art Walk: We'll use First Fridays each month to impact our friends at Urban Living on 2nd Ave.  Each First Friday, we'll be working with the children during a craft time and follow up two days later on Sunday for a Life Group at UL2.

Urban Living, 650 N 2nd Ave.

The Sunday following First Friday: Life Group at UL2.  4pm in the Multipurpose Room.  Enter on the north end of UL2 off McKinley Street.
We'll be using curriculum developed by Group Publishing for their Lifetree meetings.  The video/visual-intensive curriculum uses interviews and questions to prompt involvement by both believers and non-believers.  

Hob Nobs, 149 W McDowell Rd.

Typically 2nd Sunday (but occasionally 1st Sunday when 1st Sunday precedes 1st Friday in the month.  * June and September in 2019). Popup Church at an area park or Hob Nobs, 4pm.
Popup Church is one of the ways we demonstrate our faith alonside the community.  It allows people to see us in worship without obligating them to join us.  It's quite simply, church-without-walls.

Fair Trade Cafe', 1020 N 1st Ave

3rd Sundays: RoRo Life Group at Fair Trade Cafe', 4pm.  We'll choose what book of the Bible we'll be studying this next year.  Following the same form as we did with the Books of John and James, we'll rotate teachers, taking one chapter of the study when we meet at FTC.

Painter's Lounge, 1001 N 3rd Ave, Suite 7

4th Sundays:  RoRo Life Group at The Painter's Lounge, 4pm.  We'll be studying Francis Chan's new book, Letters to the Church by reading, discussing and watching Francis Chan's video teaching.  We'll cover a chapter each time we meet.  You'll need a copy of his book and the companion study guide.

5th Sundays:  We'll meet at Jim & Colleen's condo for food, fellowship, baptism* (when applicable)
